Call of Duty: Ghosts Makes a Return to Tesco Listing
Call of Duty: Ghosts, is more or less Activision and Infinity Ward’s next entry in the prestigious Call of Duty series. While many had already began the rumor mill because of the original Tesco listing a few days followed by a Target ad, the rumors that stated Ghosts would be a “Modern Warfare 4” might not seem as likely anymore. According to the product description, the game is taking a completely new angle to story, gameplay and graphics using a new engine. We will found out more in the coming month of May 2013 with the continued release later in November.
Call of Duty: Ghosts Makes a Return to Tesco Listing, New details come to light.
Call of Duty: Ghosts is now officially available for pre-order on Tesco. Previously the game had been accidentally listed and had already revealed the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 box art for the game, while the official product listing was missing at the time the newer listing suggests that maybe there might still be hope for the Call of Duty series:
The franchise that has defined a generation of gaming is set to raise the bar once again with the all-new Call of Duty®: Ghosts. Published by Activision and developed by Infinity Ward, the studio that created the original Call of Duty and the seminal Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® series, Call of Duty: Ghosts ushers in the next generation of the franchise, delivering a riveting all-new gameplay experience built on an entirely new story, setting and cast, all powered by a new next-generation Call of Duty engine.
The next generation of the franchise could refer to a new story line taking place and hopefully telling the story of Ghost, a forgotten hero of Modern Warfare 2. Judging by the box art it would seem to be the most likely assumption.
So far, the official details surrounding Call of Duty: Ghosts is still shrouded in mystery, so we will have to wait patiently till May for more details, and come E3 we can expect a complete information blow out if not before!
How excited are you for Ghosts? Do you believe this could a way for the series to redeem itself?
