Samsung Galaxy J Teased For A Taiwan Launch?

Samsung’s knack for announces a plethora of phones hasn’t changed a bit, and with that Samsung is teasing yet another Android based smartphone.

According to the teaser, Samsung is calling the phone ‘Just fit, Just Simple and Just elegant‘. The teaser does show something flagship-esque and you might as well mistake it for the Galaxy S5. But Samsung has never released two S-flagships in a year, and its highly unlikely they will start now. Another thing to note is that around the 8 second mark the model number of the phone is visible, which reads SC-02F and happens to be the model number of the Galaxy J. The video is teased by Samsung Taiwan, which coincides with the rumors of the Galaxy J launching in more than one region. The excessive usage of the letter ‘J’ is another giveaway of it being the Galaxy J.

The Galaxy J as you might know, is crossover between the Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note 3. The phone is pretty beefed up, as it packs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 SoC clocked at 2.3GHz, 3GB of Ram, 13MP with OIS camera and 32GB internal storage under the hood. There is Android 4.3 on-board with Samsung’s Touchwiz UI and it’s perks, along with LTE-A support. The display is a five incher with a Super AMOLED panel.

As far as release date goes, the Galaxy Gear at the beginning of the video reads December 9th which is this coming Monday.
